Hi, I’m Maruf.
I am the person behind ToolsEngineers.com.
I work with everyday tools. I focus on how they work in the real world. I look at the problems people face at home or in small shops.
I also do hands-on work through Airtasker. This work has taught me a lot. I learned that results matter more than theory. Tools are not just for show. They need to work well when you have a job to do.
I started this site because many reviews are just lists of specs. They don’t come from real use.
My goal is simple: I test tools. Then, I explain how they work for real people.
Who is this site for?
ToolsEngineers is for:
- DIYers and home users.
- People who fix and build things on their own.
- Beginners who want clear answers.
- Users who want facts, not ads.
This site is about real tools and real problems. I don’t care about perfect labs. I don’t worship brands. I don’t just copy the manual.
How I test tools
I try to use every tool I review. I compare them to others. I use a simple list to judge them.
I look at:
- How well it is built.
- How it does the job.
- If it gets too hot.
- If it is easy to hold and use.
- Where it might break.
- Who should buy it.
- Who should not buy it.
Most articles come from my own tests. I also use my experience fixing things. I write about problems that happen a lot. This keeps the site honest. It is about how tools act, not what the brand says.
My promise to you
Some pages on this site have affiliate links. If you buy through them, the site may earn a small fee. This costs you nothing.
Here is the truth:
- Brands do not pay me to rank them high.
- I do not push expensive tools just to make money.
- I do not hide bad points.
If a tool is bad, I will tell you. If a tool is only good for one thing, I will say that. My goal is to be useful, not to sell you things.
Why I made this site
I want to show:
- What tools are good at.
- Where tools fail.
- Why some tools work better for certain jobs.
- How to save money by picking the right tool.
Most of us don’t work in big factories. We work in bedrooms, garages, or on small benches. We work late at night to fix things. I write for these places.
A note on safety
I share my own tips and guides. But please be safe. For big electrical jobs or industrial work, call a pro. Always read the manual from the maker. If a job seems dangerous, take extra care.
